Isaiah 43:1-3
Trials and tribulations attacking on all sides, fighting war against my Spirit in a battle I can’t fight. Your all sufficient Grace is my hope for victory and on the front-lines I place my trust in Your promises for me:
When you pass through raging waters, I will hold tightly to your hand; when you’re drowning in the river, I will lift you up to stand; when you’re walking through the fire, the flames will not hold true, for I will be with you.
Struggling to breath, my body feeling weak, fears and doubts advancing upon the very hope I need. My losses have been great, I have nothing more to lose, the only riches now I know are those I find in You:
When you pass through raging waters, I will hold tightly to your hand; when you’re drowning in the river, I will lift you up to stand; when you’re walking through the fire, the flames will not hold true, for I will be with you.
And when the raging waters have covered all I know, and the river left nothing behind; when the fire is but ashes of my tired, defeated life – I will still be standing, my Savior’s face I’ll see, for even in the fire, You will always be with me.
Isaiah 43:1-3
This is what the Lord says – He who created you; he who formed you: Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the Lord, Your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior…
